100 Men Markham is a local giving group that brings together men from across the GTA a few times a year to support community‑based charities in a focused, efficient way. Members commit to donating $100 at each of four meetings per year, and those individual gifts are combined into one large contribution that creates immediate impact for a selected local nonprofit. The model is straightforward: 100 men, $100 each, one charity, every quarter.
We meet for about an hour, four times a year. Each gathering includes a short update from the previous recipient charity on how their donation was used, followed by brief presentations from a small number of member‑nominated charities, who share who they are, what they do, and how additional funding would help. After the presentations, members vote, and the chosen organization receives the group’s collective support, with all donations flowing directly to that charity.
The structure is intentionally simple: one hour, a clear $100‑per‑meeting commitment, and meaningful results that stay in the Markham community.
